It was so nice to have my mom in town the first week I came home from the hospital. She cooked, cleaned, and gave me good parenting advice for Beau. I was very sad to see her go since I knew that I wouldn't see her until February for the baby blessing. Unfortunately I live very far from my family so when I do get to see them it's a very special occasion. Soon after my mom left Justin's mom flew out to help with Beau. She was such a big help, it was also sad to see her go along with Papa George. So until February we will just have to miss our Grandparents!

I'm a Mommy
Hi everyone! I know people are wondering how everything went with the birth, and all that fun stuff. Well I am not going to write about it so if you would like to know you will have to give me a call. But I will tell you it went better than expected! I am doing good the recovery is going well and I am suprised at how little sleep I can get in a night and still function during the day.
Justin is so in love with him as am I we didnt know that a baby could bring this much joy in our lives and we feel so blessed to have such a wonderful miracle during this Holiday season.
Quick little note on how amazing my husband is I just have to let everyone know that my husband is super dad. I am so lucky to have some one wait on me and the baby hand and foot, change a million dirty diapers, always want to be involved in anything that has to do with the baby, and is my rock to lean on during my emotional times. So a special thanks to my wonderful husband, I can honestly say that I am the luckiest women in the world to have such a sensitive husband who would do anything for his family.
I will post more pics soon!

Texas Baby Shower
Last weekend Mary Kaye and Ashley Peay threw me an awesome Baby shower. It was allot of fun, I have great friends here in Texas and I totally appreciate all that they do for me. Thanks to all of those who could come, and a special thanks to MK for putting to good use her Martha Stewart skills. Ashley for subbing in for "Betty Crocker". Abbie for putting together a embarrassing but fun game for all to join in on. And Laurel for saving the day with her awesome breakfast casseroleGreat friends!
"Bump Watch"! Abbie don't worry we all know you already had your baby a long time ago so don't go drinking the water just so you can fit in.
Great decor for my little "Wild thing" themed Baby shower.
Here I am opening up some cute gifts. Whitney was a big help as you can see showing enthusiasm as she and I opened up tons of packages.
Thanks everyone!!!!

Juno
Sorry for the really long overdue blog everyone. Unfortunately these past couple of months have been busy! We bought and moved into a new home, our Internet wasn't being installed for two months. Justin and I went out of town for two baby showers, one in Utah and one in Idaho. And to top it off my camera is not working properly.
Quick update I am 34 wks prego, and I feel like I am 4owks, I don't know if my skin is going to allow me to grow any bigger, but every time I say that it finds a way to. I don't really have any complaints about this stage just that Justin keeps having a melt down in the middle of the night. Every time I get up to pee, he turns over ( if he is awake) and says " Is everything ok"! Yes everything is ok if it wasn't I would be screaming and I would roll over and smack you to wake up and drive me to the hospital (jk).
Last weekend we went to a friends house for a Halloween party Justin and I dressed up as "Juno" and "Paulie Bleeker". I figured there are only so many options you can go as when you are pregnant for Halloween, and what better that a pregnant 15 year old and her track running babies daddy. It was allot of fun, MK sure can through a great party and we even one cutest couple award.
Happy Halloween everyone! I will really try and stay up on my blog, so please don't send me anymore threatening mail.

Baby Beau

Here are some pics of Beau inside my belly, he looks pretty interesting right now. He currently weighs 1pound 30z.
I currently just finished the end of the Twilight saga series "Breaking Dawn". Of course I loved it but I am sad that this is the end of my soap opera addiction of a book. I know Justin is happy to see it end, since I completely abandon him and leave him to fend for himself for 2 days (rough life).
He offered to take me shopping last Saturday when my book arrived that morning, just so I wouldn't start the book and ruin his Saturday. So I decided if he was offering to take me shopping he must be pretty desperate (and truly hates these books), so we went and got me some prego clothes.
Here is a list of things I am loving and hating currently during my pregnancy, I just though I would share more of my complaints.
Hate
1.) Chines Food
2.) Pinched nerve in my Back
3.) Maternity Clothes
4.) Constantly having to pee
5.) Gaining Weight
Love
1.) Anything chocolate
2.) Prego Yoga w/my friend Ash
3.) Feeling Beau move in my belly
4.) Twilight Saga is over so I can stop obsessing
5.) That I have great Prego friends to complain and coo with
about our babies.
*A note from Smitty:
Just in case anyone is wondering how I'm doing during the pregnancy... I'm holding in there. My basic duties remain the same: dishes, trash, scoop ice cream and mood swing damage control.
Current interests:
Vampire books (ha) but a good book to check out is "The Last Patriot," by Brad Thor;
Golf;
Getting my mind right for football season (I think Favre should just agree to play for 16 different teams this season playing every week for a different team, so we can all have a chance to throw something at him);
I am also currently training myself to become the worlds greatest SaaS (Google it) sales rep because I got a kid on the way and need to start stacking that paper.
